Doubtful, but are there any kits and/or PCB's available for a Chandler LTD-1 clone? How different is the Chandler from a 1073. Could I put a 1073 build into a Chandler case? Anyway, I picked up a blank Chandler LTD-1 case that's outfitted with switches, knobs, and buttons. I figured that best case scenario, I could use the parts and fill it with something cool, worst case I've got a cool looking rack filler to let my tube gear breathe. Here is the unit... reverb.com/item/912455-chandler-ltd1Any thoughts from the pros here?

I do know that chandler was pretty aggressive about squashing clones of any of their products back a few years ago, so no commercial/kit clones really made it out of the DIY areas.

True. A TG1 clone project once came up from a shady corner for a short time. There has been a re-engineering that unfortunately leaked out of a hidden group of DIYers that did these type of analysis and re-engineering out of personal, technical and absolutely non-commercial interest in pro-audio electronics. And that's it. If you are interested into a clone of a Chandler unit, you most probably will be pretty much on your own. No kits, pcbs or whatever. Oldschool DIYers would probably have an ethical problem with a published clone of an active design of a small business... Sorry, man...

I had low expectations for a Chandler Clone.
I should be able to at least build a Neve clone preamp jam it in this case and use the gain/output switches tight?

That shouldn't be a problem. In case you run into probs with different pot/switch resistance ranges, you can always modify these with parallel/serial added resistors... The case seems to have lots of space to fit in whatever project you choose...
