So I'm trying to get my old 67 cougar rebuilt in time for a show at the end of september. I'll need to paint it soon, but I really can't decide what color.
I'm dead against reds, purples, yellows.
I'm thinking blue, white or silver, but can't really decide.

A friend had a black one back in the 70's, looked nice! I chose off white out of your two choices though.

What color is the interior? Black is the hardest color for upkeep. Shows dust, dirt, swirls, etc., the most.

I'm dead against reds, purples, yellows. That's a real shame. The British & Irish classic children's game "Yellow Car" (where you get to hit a friend if you see a yellow car and yell it first) can't exist in a world without yellow cars!

The car was originally red from the factory. It was later painted about 4 different colors before I bought it in 1996, with the last color being a slightly darker blue than the pelham blue. I stripped the outer layers until I got to solid paint and painted it black. It stayed black until I decided to restore it. Now it's etching primer green. I've taken everything down to the metal and started again. LOTS and lots of rust. Lots of patching sheet metal. I'll do a 2k primer and then a single stage urethane on this one. It'll never be a show car due to all the patching, but I can't wait to drive it again! BTW, a lot of the colors I'm looking at are here: www.tcpglobal.com/Automotive-Paint/Restoration-Shop/This is the latest work:
