I've been using a Lola as my recording DI, which is great, but options are good...

This video compares the RNDI with some of your typical popular DIs (radial, countryman). The RNDI definitely has a nice fattening effect, and some harmonic coloration. Not at all a 'clean' DI.

At $269 the price is fairly comparable to the higher end Radial's, so I might pick one up soon... wish I could see the guts.
