Got the download, butbthen needed to update my UVI workstation. Not sure if I have it all together yet, but at least the download was done before the deadline , so I can figure out how to get it working as I go.
Thanks smallbutfine, cat told me about this a few days back, and I'd forgotten all about it.

Oh sweet!!
Thanks for posting this. UVI is great. I have their drum machine collection, and they gave me a free grand piano with that purchase. LOL, a sampled grand piano I mean.
I was actually thinking about buying this digital synth collection, but you can't beat free.
I believe the UVI Workstation player is free.

It looks like their Analogic Piano library is also free. You have to go to Facebook, get a serial number, register the serial number on UVI.net, then you can download it from the "My Products" page. Be advised the serial number is in an awkward split up format on Facebook, you've got to cut and paste it properly, confused me at first.

hmm... the latest UVI Workstation seems a little buggy. I used to audition sounds with the PC keyboard, on the older versions. Only monophonic-ish with this version. I noticed a couple presets were pretty decent, but haven't gone through them all. All in all, a peach of a deal.

Is the UVI workstation free? I'm downloading now... Yes, the engine is still free. There is also a demo soundbank of ~350MB that is free. But i never bothered to use it, and at the time i tested UVI, few years ago, i got a pretty buggy version. So this yesterday was the chance to re-check and get a nice freebie for me and my synth-loving brother... I just checked the 64-bit PC engine in standalone mode yesterday and did not notice the mono-ish bug...

I just wrote a whole track with this UVI plugin, and the UVI analog drum machine... well it was only 1:34 long, and I did add a TX81z ovedrub, but I think this plugin sounds great. I love digital synths, and this one is sampled well, and the onboard controls offer good sound shaping, taking it a bit beyond a simple "rompler" function. Thanks, UVI. I might be back for more. Maybe the electric pianos.
