...the very well-liked Monoprice Headphones #8323 are on sale again for $19.99, with free shipping on orders of $50 or more...so three pair are $59.97 shipped...great utility headphones for tracking in the studio...very durable, comfortable with minimal bleed: www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=108&cp_id=10823&cs_id=1082302&p_id=8323&seq=1&format=2&cl=res&utm_source=150607_email&utm_medium=email&utm_content=8323&utm_campaign=150607_sunday...Tape Op Magazine had this to say: "I listened to the Monoprice headphones through a home stereo receiver, three pro-audio interfaces, and an iPad. They sounded great through all. I loaned them to two engineers who both agreed that the value was outrageous. I loaned them to my wife, who is a full-time musician. They are hers now, so I had to buy more for my use. The only detraction I can think of is that the oval ear cups may be too small for larger ears, but they were comfy for everybody mentioned. They'd be great for detail listening/mixing on a budget, and I see no reason to spend more on tracking headphones anymore. If you know of a better value, please write to Tape Op." ...read the entire review here: www.tapeop.com/reviews/gear/91/dj-style-pro-headphones-item-8323/

Bought.... Too good to pass up. Go ahead and drop the dang headphones buddy... ...I've been using these for a few years...yeah, they'll get dropped, but they will survive...made quite well...and the cords plug in, so if the get pulled, they let go without damage...surprisingly resilient and comfortable utility headphones for cheap!...oh yeah, they sound good too...

Bought 10 pair last time they had a sale. Got tired of giving musicians $100 headphones and seeing them trashed.

Ordered three when they were on Sale: 18 x 3 = 54 = free shipping - $10 coupon = $44, < $15/pair. Just got 'em in. They're closed ear, good and tight but comfortable - reasonably efficient - a bit of a bump at 120 Hz and at 1k+ish. Sonically on the 'boxy' side but very serviceable for tracking. The cable is standard/mini replaceable; the ears swivel just enough and fold. Really, an amazing deal.

a bit of a bump at 120 Hz and at 1k+ish. I find these small boosts to be useful for checking mixes (in combination with flatter phones and monitors).... kind of like checking on a typical car stereo or boombox.

I grabbed some for my kids to use. Better then them using my expensive headphones to watch youtube. Funny you should say that I picked up a bunch of $10 target phones for the kid and school, I swear they are the same as the Beats! Not that it says much about the sound but I laugh every timeI see somebody with Beats that cost 10-20 times what these cost!

Grabbed 4 sets of them. Great to have as drummers and bassists always beat the crap out of the $175 and up ones.
