I'm really curious for the few that have every UAD plugin they need... what are the essentials for you? what couldn't you live without and what do you use on every mix? I feel like I could reach that point too, but I'm not there yet. 1176 MKII LA2A Real Verb (Underrated by many users...) Dimension D EMT 140 / 250 |

Just pulled the trigger on a new blackface apollo. Cant wait to dig in. For all you apollo users, can you track through plugs on the digital ins? Anyone use/like the little labs ibp plug? Api vision strip? I like and use api vision but demo the new 88 for sure do not buy plugs until yo get your apollo as when you register it you will have a $100 coupon and you will get a custom bundle offer at registration you can pick any 3 plugs for $399, 6/700 and I think they have a 10 plug deal too so you get the most expensive plugs for $133 adn you get a classic bundle which lets you upgrade to all the mkii plugs at 50% off. |

no but you can use the $100 coupon on a purchase of a mkii plug so you will pay say $49 for a $250+ plug
mmkii include la2a, 1176, pultec, neve, fairchild, etc ( you can confirm them in the ua store) so don't buy those with your custom bundle
you pay for the custom bundle with a separate process/screen not in the ua store, if you don't select it, the custom bundle stays live in your UA account for awhile, you can access it by adding /specialoffer to the end of your ua account url
you will have 14 day demo's of all ua plugs time based on when you open each plug for the first time adn they reset when yo buy new plugs. so you can strategically have many opportunities to demo ua plugs

Ive heard that plug is badass. there is a divergence of opinion about SH: - some criticize it for not sounding 100% like the real hardware; - others appreciate that it provides very useful compression and the characteristics of the different transformers I would recommend that you demo it ! |
