I used to watch Cosmos with my father and brother, I was a kid but still felt amazed by our place in the universe. Recently I started watching the new version, the first chapter is mindblowing. I've never seen any of those channels, but I will. There was a modern physics class I took in University, our teacher worked for NASA. He was in the R&D team for the quantum computer. We were fortunate, he took vacations every now and then, in his free time he was a teacher. That class was really cool, it was difficult too. I remember he told a partner (my partner was pissed because the exam wasn't about anything we saw in class) "Life gives problems you are never aware of"

Not from Cosmos, but with a voiceover taken from the audio version of Pale Blue Dot. Awesome: Here's a direct link to Erik Wernquist's site: WANDERERSIncredible stuff!

Kinda hard to believe that it's produced by Peter Griffin - aka Seth MacFarlane. Is there anything that guy doesn't do?

Even more hard to believe that FOX was the channel that first picked it up for airing.

I maintain that it was one of the best sounding shows on TV.

I liked the old one better than the new. I think Tyson spent too much time on the cartoon parts of it.
