or better yet, use a hosting page like Photobucket. I noticed the site is getting close to the maximum on storage space. It's an extra cost to upgrade that server space, but many of the larger attachments seem to be from pictures that are several MB's in size. I'm going to have to start deleting some of those pics to stay within the storage range and not have to pay $15/month for a 4 MB pic of someone's desktop Thanks!

What size is acceptable to post? I notice that pictures taken on my Samsung Galaxy phone are huge, whereas photos taken on my older Canon Powershot digital camera seem to be easier to work with. The photos from the Canon are 1704 x 2272, not sure about the Samsung.

All you have to do is sign up for a free account at photobucket, Flickr, etc. Upload it there and then copy the direct link and paste in the body of the post. Simple and doesn't take any space on these servers.

Mediafire is another great service to get free space on.
Personally, if I'm going to put pictures up I'll take an extra minute and optimize them through Photoshop via "Save for Web and Device". Seems like it's pretty easy these days to get a great looking high definition jpg at 1920 X 1080 or better that can still only weigh in at less than 500kb of file size.
I think I might be in the minority though and I can certainly understand why; it's so simple to just shoot a pic on your phone and upload it from there that I don't think any extra image processing occurs to a lot of people.

Imgur works great with the Android app too. Easy to upload and easy to post.
