Behringer is going to take over the world. Wouldn’t be surprised if they end up owning PT. Couldn’t run avid any worse.

No... why can't they leave it alone. But maybe my vintage TC racks will be worth more money because of it. I have an original Voice-Live and Voice-Solo as well.

Not a huge issue to me as I no longer own any TC stuff and hopefully they won't kill it. I thought it was interesting though that in the interview ULI mentions the huge amount of intellectual property included in the deal, at least they paid for it this time.

Heh... That would be a riot, S6 clones for $2,500. PT HD for Reaper prices...

Behringer as much as I hate them , has been good for both Midas and Turbosound. They injected money to bring new products to market and while introducing some lowend products shared technology. With GuitarCenter being in such sad shape, don't be surprised if Behringer /Music Group Picks up more Companies. TC is not what it once was with German/ China cash we might see some cool stuff.

As long they do not create crap like with the B. brand. But I guess they will canibalise those qualty brands too.... good that I bought my TC converter a month ago.....

This is quite a statement about the condition of the pro audio marketplace and probably explains some of where Avid is coming from with their new business model.
Musicians and songwriters getting screwed is ultimately taking down the businesses who supply musicians and songwriters. Every single pro audio manufacturer, developer and dealer ought to be standing up for our intellectual property rights.
