man Mitch lost a ton of weight or somethin'. his face looks way different than in earlier videos. I hope it's nothin' serious.

Why do they insist on going back to 1986 for these guitar amp sim demos?

The tone is ok on the sim's but there are very limited dynamics IMHO.

I've seen a few Sweetwater videos of Mitch recently. He looks a lot better to me. He looks healthy. Congrats, Mitch. The Marshall sounds ok. I have the UAD SoftTube Vintage Amp room, I couldn't use it for a master quality recording, too bad, for my laptop rig. Gonna need another Kemper for when I'm in my apartment, methinks. Still happy with the Apollo Twin interface for portable audio use. Just got an Octo Satellite Thunderbolt for horsepower on mixes and maybe recording if that's allowed on Console V.2. I haven't upgraded yet, because I don't want to give up the T-bolt hot-plugging.

plugs will be released forever !! how the hell would I know they have held back the auto tune and there are strong rumours about the api 2500 ? but I don't know anything that isn't in the public domain ? personally I would think they want to do something with another unison pre and there have been rumours about a proper channel strip but I haven't thing anything specific and or any leaked pics. clear as mud.

Funny, I just watched that Sweetwater vid before seeing this thread. I thought all the presets they went through sounded horrible except for the very last one called "hard rock" or something. ummm... It not that hard... simple : guitar, chord, amp(Plexi Clone), speaker, 57 Nice. What plexi clone?

It's basically just a Metroamp Plexi Kit with my newest caps.

btw Softube has posted at ua forum indicating while they are pleased that sweetwtater did a video, apparently SW did not use the stereo files adn has printed mono tracks which creates phase issues
So Softube reiterated they are very proud of this plug , it is signed off by marshall and softube (Henricc) encouraged people to try the demo and to use the stereo files !!!

Yeah you could tell it was mono, and sometimes I thought they were using a room mic instead of the direct audio

My Jimmy Wigle "Purplexing" super lead 100 clone sounds like the real deal. I'm getting ready to buy a Two Notes Reload so I can DI track with that head.
I dunno...I can get Amplitude 3 to model an approximate which won't sound too "off" in terms of response and EQ curve in the mix...but square distortion modeling non linear distortious loses every time.
There's decent amp sims by many companies, but the Kemper seems to be the digital unit where the breakup is most "tubelike" I love demoing with Amplitube, but I still need a few tube amps around to get the sounds I'm after.

Call me the odd man out (as usual), but I really really detest the Kemper. I have spent countless hours with it and have yet to come up with anything or hear anyone else's presets that can compare to a real amp.

I'm getting ready to buy a Two Notes Reload so I can DI track (I wanted to post photos...but it's not working?* anyone have any pointers?) Use the "Add Attachment" > "Add Files" buttons, navigate to the pic, "Open", and "Insert". Set your cursor to where you want the picture to be displayed:

Has to be 3mb or less. Costs extra to raise the size and add more storage

Easiest way is to upload it to flickr, photobucket, etc and then add direct link.
