I already had the right delay, logics delay designer, but this thing resonates like hell. So I thought about some other options in delay all my HW is blocked with reverb now. Any hint is welcome which plug in to try?? The best oft it all would be if it does not need years of programming, good presets PLEASE. Am I pissed? Yes I am working on this single BG-G for hours now but the delay always sounds resonating, wrong.... Its in the back but there is no vibe to it..... GRRRR

Problem solved used Logics Stereodelay sent it to the flanger of the midiverb 3 and done. Still resonates a little bit but it fits the bill.
Anyway I have not much delay options I will watch into Soundtoys Echoboy... I like toying around with delays they sometimes are more efficient than a re-verb....

GRRRR Try the Valhalla DSP Freq Echo and Ubermod Plugs..they're each $50 VALHALLA DSP LINK
I also like and use Waves H-Delay...but I typically have to EQ it first. Overall for plugins, the Valhalla DSP stuff has become my go to for Time Based Effects. I am trying to figure out how to budget a pair of Moog Analog Delays for the 500 series as well though.

The best delay I've found, and one that keeps me chained to TDM and not upgrading is Echo Farm. The delay it sounds like you want is the deluxe memory man preset. Heaven.....

Can you post a short clip of the problem and then a clip of it now fixed using the midi 3, Logic Stereo Delay ect . That would add little more context and dimension for me. I dont mind if its just MP3. Cheers

Thanks for all the hints. I am a moron. From time to time I should check whats on my I lok. Back in 2007 I bought the Nomad Blue Tubes Bundle. And there is a Plug In called "Olican Echo" which is something like the memory man.
So I guess I am covered with delays ITB. BTW what would be a great HW Delay from the 80s or 90s???
PS: Hadaja there are reasons not to post the clip - sorry. But it sounds good now how it sounds.

If you're using Pro Tools, the built in delays are fantastic. Clean, non-resonating, non-modulating (unless you want them too) and for a more 'guitar delay' approach, the Waves stompbox frame has some wonderful options.

BTW what would be a great HW Delay from the 80s or 90s??? The standouts are the TC Electronics - can't think of the model name right now, buy the big expensive one. (Not expensive anymore...) The Roland SDE-3000 - an excellent choice The Yanaha D1500's - a sleeper that's usually available very cheap

The D - Two is a good alternative.
