Is anyone else using these MOOG 500 series delays? I picked up a pair, and am floored by how lush and fat they sound.

Is that the ladder thing? The Ladder is a filter actually. Pretty cool but those delays are MAGIC, I really want a pair, and they've been on the list for a long time.

Is that the ladder thing? They are not, they are the bucket brigade analog delays, and they are insanely good!

You are right, MAGIC is the word, they do something magical. You should get a pair before they run out of the NOS bucket brigade chips, and are no longer being made; they will be worth some coin down the road.

Can you run the two you own in mono using the GUI plugin control separately? I'm just wondering because four actually might be optimal for a console or as analog inserts.

Yeah, you can defeat the 'Stereo' mode via the plugin interface. They give you a little cable to link the two units internally, but you can detach them via your DAW. SOOO MUCH POWER inside the interface beyond what's on the faceplates.
