I have three spaces left in my Purple 10 500 rack, and one open bus on the Sigma (mono or stereo) for another return. Mmmm, 54F50 on the lead vocal. Or, I could use another stereo comp for acoustic instruments and/or OH drums. For some reason I can't get the STA to work well on a bus when mixing. Probably the engineer's fault, but I'm not sure I want to run vox through the STA twice anyway since I track with it, always. So, which way to go? I know, when you reach a fork in the road: take it. But one thing at a time, one purchase. It's a new philosophy I'm trying.
My friends, help me spend some USD . . .

Cant really help, other than to say.. I don't track and then mix with STA for same deal.
I will however track with STA then "kiss" with LA2A, or.. a bit of a secret weapon... the LA500.. shhh
(if you want, send me a vocal stem thats been tracked with the STA and I will put the LA500 on it for you...)
8)
cheers

Pair of TX5C's. Versatile, stereo, and you can grab an LA500 like wiz is suggesting to finish filling the box.
