I've used one before and was impressed, but haven't directly compared to other clone offerings. Does anyone have any comparison thoughts?

I'd choose a clone over the LB version.
Since meeting Bob from RTZ and seeing the innards on his design, I'd say make that 9762 a serious contender on your list too.

I might just do that...I have a nice little chunk of credit at VK, though...and three years to pay Where did you see the innards of the RTZ?

Im considering letting my heritage jr go and grabbing a RTZ 9762a. Pretty much set, only the weak Aussie dollar holding me back.

I'm interested if any of you have experience with the Sound Skulptor. I have (and really like) their fet comp...it's on my list to build after I spend money I don't have on Jeff's new comps...

I have used them as an amp stage before. You just gotta turn the input to the lowest setting. Sounds like you would imagine it sounding. Warm but open.
