OK - I can't figure this shiite out...There has GOT to be a keyboard shortcut to add markers. In Pro Tools, you add a marker by hitting the Enter key...then label the marker and it appears up top in the timeline. I can quickly determine where I am in the song...Is there not a similar keyboard shortcut? How do you add a custom keyboard shortcut myself?

You're aware that you can just add it by clicking on the icon, correct? That's what I do. And then label them using the Markers menu. Just looking now though, if you go to Key Commands under the File heading, scroll down to Transport and there are Set Marker choices.....I haven't tried it but it probably works.

On windows you just hit the 'insert' key by default. But if that's not an option on mac, you should be able to set it to whatever key you want in the 'key commands' menu.
