So I tend to like to find unusual or unknown movies to watch. A lot are foreign movies to me, some aren't. Do you have any favorites?

The raid is awesome, best modern martial arts movie I've seen. Its the same plot as the new judge dredd film but the main star is of the school of jackie chan, uses the scenery to mess people up.
Dancer in the Dark is a great & depressing film, starring bjork
spring summer winter fall and spring is a beautiful movie about a buddhist monk

Post Tenebras Lux - It's a really good one. Kikujiro - It's a Japanese movie about a boy trying to find her mother, good times. Shower - Another favorite, it's a Zhang Yang movie, quite predictable but still enjoyable.

Not a movie but I think most people here would really enjoy the second episode of Black Mirror, "Fifteen Million Merits". Each episode is a diff cast/setting so no need to watch the first one before. Awesome bit of social commentary.

Same director and lead actor as the Raid.

Cube Cube 2 - Hypercube Great canadian indie type SF horror movies. Adam's Apples Very nice and absurdly funny danish movie about a criminal neo-nazi skinhead attaining a resocializing community program with Mads Mikkelsen as an insanely positively-thinking priest ... Cargo (2009) Sci-Fi from Switzerland that turned out very well considering the pretty low budget of 5M Sfr. incl. 3M Sfr. in material from sponsors, has it's own tempo and athmosphere, Alien-style with very well made effects. Not the average hollywood scifi. First big movie of Ivan Engler.

I have Sahara on DVD, the remake of the Humphrey Bogart movie where he's a tank commander in North Africa in WW2. James Belushi played the main character and did it pretty well. It was originally a Showtime original movie and it's hard to find.
