YEP! haha it's a good one but I think it perpetuates the myth that shit can actually be turned into gold when it can't.
Even the artists that the general public perceives not to have talent often prove to be the exact opposite. Pitch and tempo correction are just style choices and nothing else. They don't truly fix a bad musician. It's not fair to the extremely exceptional musicians that don't use any of this technology to automatically be perceived as lesser and it's not fair the up and comers who think that practice won't be needed because they're ill informed regarding what can and can not be fixed. I use all of these things on my work. I love flying parts around, doing multiple takes on drums and being able to fly good fills around, fix a bad hit, keep a gritty vocal that's a bit flat etc. I think when it comes down to these kind of things those tools are great.
Still, it's a funny video.

lol! totally! Could you imagine someone flying in a "correction" on a John Bonham track?? Thank god engineers didn't have the power to destroy art back then.
