What I love about Grohl is he realizes how lucky he is and will play with anybody. He's also got this holy fuckin shit can you believe -- is playing with me how cool is this thing.

If the music industry wasn't such a copy cat industry-Van Halen spawned Poison/Ratt/Cinderella/Warrant/Whitesnake etc. etc. etc- there wouldn't be these swings where one day a style of music is everywhere and then it's gone. They just over saturate so much and people, naturally, get sick of it. IMO these brands/styles of music would go on longer and the industry would be better served by using better judgement and more variety. Instead they jam us with one style till we're sick of it.
I agree that Grohl is doing a great job of being an ambassador of music.

Everything has a finite life I think. (Except Tswizzle) I thin VH killed themselves with the in-fighting. They probably could've been relevant for longer without it.

I think in every case where a band has a guitarist like that, they insist on running things, and ultimately destroy the band. Being they started in 78 I'm surprised they went as long as they did.

I love so many guitar players, but this guy is in a class by himself, Speed has 0 to do with it, he's swinging his ASS off! and that tone is like nothing i've every heard before or since..not even by Eddie!
