I'd say the new IZ Session Controller. But that would be expensive 'cause you'd have to buy the new Radar Studio in order to get it

I have one of these. It is very cool, and worth every penny. Works flawlessly too.

It's funny how various pieces of gear can integrate, and create dependencies. This interface is one of the main reasons why I'm hooked on Pro Tools. It's so easy to use, I can't imagine having to use a mouse for so many functions anymore, particularly basic navigation through PT's windows. It's beautiful, and PT-only, as far as I know.

Scary thing is I have been begging to any one who would listen and more who didn't that I felt PT needed something like the Radar remote, or the old BRC ! Now I know that's not this but still this could be what makes me dig deep and upgrade from HD2-8 to HD Native - 11 and it comes from a guy I have know for over 20 years! I sold him his DA88s !

what would be the best mouse for using PT with a mac? i have a track pad, but i'm not really digging it too much...
thanx
this keyboard is a must have, probably next year i'll get it, it does seem pretty seriously over priced, by about $100 or so imo.

Yee-ouch.
Even if I wasn't completely set in my ways with a normal keyboard and trackball, I'm not sure 280$ is worth it for a keyboard that might go EOL, then wear out, forcing the user to go back to normal keyboards in a couple years..

Thx Tony, not crazy money but that is roughly a third of the cost of a raven mti.

I do think it would be cool as a generic unit....ie, buying THIS www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823333182And then stickering....or maybe one can find the nice plastic covers he's using....I like the idea of physically modifying a keyboard as a dedicated DAW controller. It kind of increases both compatibility AND personal usefulness (since everyone's use will be personally different). And allow you to leave some "dead/blank" for better visual organization.
