What are your thoughts on Pepper? Just curious. I've never used them nor visited. Pepper is kick ass! He will help you immensely. He also just got a big load of new "old" gear in, too. shop.peppersproshop.com/main.scR Never seen anyone answer emails as quickly as Pepper...even at 8pm on a Sunday...even when it's to say that thing you want isn't in stock yet. |

I can tell you what you won't find in Nashville...... someone that sells components like resistors, capacitors, opamps, etc. There's nothing, Randy and I went into an "electronics store" couple of days ago and the guy looked at us like we were absolutely nuts. It's really irritating too, because in order to get a PCB 12ay7 tube mount I have to wait 2 days to get it from somewhere online.
GC over on Thompson and VK are really the only two around as far as places with like a showroom.

I can tell you what you won't find in Nashville...... someone that sells components like resistors, capacitors, opamps, etc. There's nothing, Randy and I went into an "electronics store" couple of days ago and the guy looked at us like we were absolutely nuts. It's really irritating too, because in order to get a PCB 12ay7 tube mount I have to wait 2 days to get it from somewhere online. GC over on Thompson and VK are really the only two around as far as places with like a showroom. Hey I can beat that I paid $7 to ship a couple of Turrets at $.58 ea! Oh yeah I have Electronics Supply a mile away and a Allied office/ Warehouse out in the burbs! The could have put it in envelope a with a stamp instead an 8in x 8in c 1.5in box! |

GC over on Thompson and VK are really the only two around as far as places with like a showroom.  i get stuff in under 24 hours from Mousser they are in texas and i'm like 4,000 miles away in Canada, the staff are excellent too and they have an online bom tool, highly recommended !! |

This kills me, i often order shit i don't need in anticipation of "maybe?" needing it.. I ordered a pair of reed switches for the mku47 mic, 2 reed switches=$3.50+ $14.00 shipping! |
