Is he really that out of touch with his own website? Really? R Yes he is, well he's very familer with the ad revenue but that's about it. I think a lot of the GS mod animosity stems from Tony Belmont , Tony has had a problem with Ed Anderson's transformer's. Tony hates the audio transformer that Eds OEM markets, now as I once pointed out in a private conversation many of his favorite vendors use the same OEM and just cause the in house designs suck, in no means means they can't make a good transformer. Tony told me I knew nothing about the audio biz, I then pointed out I sold more Audio Equipment in a month than he did in a year and well it went down hill from there. Tony who sells BAEs Vintage API Clone has a problem with any body but the current API Building something that sounds like Real old API ! But hey he's got a Chinease U47 clone that sounds like the real thing! |

I have done zero marketing, so that could explain it...but it seems like people just don't know about the board..When they do, they're not opposed to signing up...

RGO is a well-kept secret, conversation can move a little slow at times because we don't have the sheer numbers GS does, but the folks here are top notch and I much prefer it this way...the quality of conversation at the purple place has quickly deteriorated of late and the growing "politics" of the board are off-putting, to put it mildly...f@$k 'em if they can't take a joke...

I have done zero marketing, so that could explain it...but it seems like people just don't know about the board..When they do, they're not opposed to signing up... Hey John while I know using ad dollars to spend on Ad dollars maybe you can make a deal with some of the Advertisers ( calling Jeff Seiger) to put up a prominent link? |

Hey jsteiger I own 2 API The Channel Strips and have been testing the VP28's against the pre in the strip and it is not even close...the VP28s are incredible! Probably going to sell the strips and put together a CAPI strip! Thanks man! |

I've always been a bit indifferent on the subject, but the moderation on gearslutz is starting to rub me the wrong way, too. The experience does seem to be going downhill over there.

Working on it. If things go well, most all of the parts will be in by the end of this coming week. We still need to kit them up though so maybe in 2 weeks or so.
