Wild ending. The Pats had the edge and were totally professional, despite a few bad mistakes. Seahawks seemed like they'd eaten their Lucky Charms for breakfast, until the last minute.
I'm no fan, but I thought Katy Perry was fun, and the visuals were incredible, truly amazing. Pop singers and rappers seem to not notice there's an imbalance when there's no band playing. At times it felt like karaoke.

Katy Perry was Katy Perry.. Dancing sharks! What more is there to say? Yeah, great fun! All dancers/choreography were outstanding. I couldn't get to sleep last night and was surprised to find a swedish channel covering the event in the middle of the night/morning. Went to sleep around 3.30AM after the 3rd when Seattle still ruled, so was surprised to see the final result this morning!

Idina Menzel has quite the voice. Really? I thought it was a case of great pipes, mediocre singing. I heard her go off pitch a half dozen times at least, at one point I almost thought it was a modulation to a new key. cowboycoalminer said, "There were sharks? I didn't notice. Couldn't take my eyes off her tits." That was her game plan, and it worked magnificently! Maybe once every two years I get the urge to have a White Castle hamburger. As a teenager, we used to land at a White Castle and devour at least six of those little steamed burger treats at 3:00 AM, after a long night out. Every three or four years, I succumb to the urge and chow down at least three or four of those little cheeseburgers, knowing full well it's completely junk food. Maybe it's sentiment, maybe it's just the physical response to seeing their sign. Katy Perry's like that, once in a while, you just go with the flow and enjoy the ride. It was a great entertainment. I actually appreciated that she wasn't trying to be "edgy" or "push the envelope" at a Superbowl performance. By the time you've made it to a Superbowl, you're a long way from the edge.

I don't care about personal values and attitudes on the subject, not really interested in discussing, but even if this is a male dominated forum, could we try to behave in a way that women would feel welcome too and tone down a little on the tittie theme? Tit storm suit on.. 24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_meeslmxf551qzydh2o1_500.gif

I thought it was very powerful, better job than most do. I'm just happy they didn't let Steven Tyler do it.

I must learn to tame my inner Rock 'n' Roller a bit more. When he comes out and starts spewing random Zeppelin lyrics, things can get out of hand. Not Zeppelin, but this is what I'm talking about. It's inciteful, I tell ya:

The comments on NFL dot com are pretty funny, all the sore losers can come up with is "Cheaters!" I hope their hangovers hurt all day long!

Well, they didn't cheat at the Super Bowl, they won fair and square. Lady luck was kissing both sides, and the Pats got the last kiss, and they'd earned it, I felt.
mobeach said. " I'm just happy they didn't let Steven Tyler do it "
I second that motion.

Why would they need to cheat against the Colts when the Pats running game destroyed them twice? That whole thing didn't make sense from day one.

#DeflateGate was done by the NFL to divert the media attention away from the Aaron Hernandez murder trial that started last week.

Damn. Who locked the poll? I wanna vote!
I'm not one to jump on conspiracy theories, but deflate gate was so petty that it's almost plausible that it was a diversionary tactic by the league. On the other hand, why would the commish put himself on the front lines ..potentially having to apologize for much ado about nothing?

The job of the commish is to take the fall for things. The minor deflategate thing pales in comparison to the murder trial.
