Good to see you both get the well deserved time in the spotlight. The song may not be my favorite, but I have to say it sticks in my head everytime I hear it.
Jeff just remember don't start believing everything they write about you.

Great article, and a great success story for Trainor and Kadish. Kudos to LA Reid and Epic for hearing the tune.
Besides the nod to Jeff and CAPI, it's nice to see Nomad Factory get mentioned. I'll use their plugs when I think they'll do the job. I like the COSMOS plug particularly, but I don't brag on it, 'cause no one seems to be talking about them as good software.

Yes, it is very rare to read about the gear and plugs used in a hit production that is not considered "good enough" by many, as in this article the Nomad Factory stuff or even the Behringer Edison (which is one of the obviously useful units they made), side by side to undoubtly great stuff like e.g. the Sta or CAPI.

i have to say, it is long overdue that Jeff gets his due, this may be the catalyst? i hope he'll set aside a certain amount of gear for us RGOers when his stuff becomes unobtanium.

I think the most important thing that WAS NOT USED in this track was autotune. Its hard to fathom the vox on a worldwide smash pop tune like this were not tuned. I hope Kevin starts a new trend.

Jeff, don't make your stuff unobtainium please. Also, don't charge a monthly subscription fee for solder cauterizing burn prevention. Thanks!

Seems he loves the halo channel strip. It is a cool plug. Seems like the moral of the story could be stop fussing about the gear you don't have and record some great music.

I've proven this to myself time and time again. Like Kennedy says, it's the painter, not the brush. I do need to get me some of this CAPI love though. Been too busy to build lately. Congratulations jsteiger. Well deserved nod.
