No I've got a CV-4 too Matt. And Sinsay says mine sounds better!! Ha!!! I made a mark on that PCB JK that only I know about so you can't pull the ole switcharoo |

cowboycoalminer Dude...you're gonna freak. It's much better than mine. He's figured out a new thing (lips sealed) and just singing through a preamp there - it's dramatically better. It sounds like different mic. The mod sounded to me like a big improvement on the stock, but still shared some of the characteristics. This really opened the top end up and really, really smoothed out the mids. At least that was my impression from singing through yours, mine and stock. Needless to say, I'm leaving mine with him Wednesday for the tweak.

cowboy you will like a lot like John said ( well he tried to bribe me sshhh ! ) that it has more to offer now. It is smoother and stands out more as its own than just bye bye zing. I am going to listen to those others Mics for you as well and get back to you.
