Maybe that would encourage people to join and participate? I could go either way...

I voted yes. It's a little weird to log in on a different site, but if the alternative is simply to move it to a different site, then no.

LOL! No, they can't vote. I think M57 is writing about changing the site's location, such as moving to another server/forum, because of moving the log in page(not sure I'm being clear). Personally, I like RGO. I'm still new here but there's so many great threads and members, it seemed silly not to log in and start asking questions. *Edit: already saw tonycamp's post and M57's. They're quick.

Ah - it's because the site is designed using the Proboards software. Eventually, I I guess I would need to migrate to another board and have someone design the site. But that's years away...and many dollars away.

I log in in multiple locations (home, work, etc.) - regardless, my mac signs me out when i turn off the computer - I don't mind signing in once a day.

I have to log in every time I visit this site, a PITA. Doesn't matter what computer I use, XP, Win 7, no matter, none of them hold my info. I check the "remember me" box buut it doesn't ever work. Either fix it or dump it is my vote.

Apparently it's your computer or browser then because no one else has that problem...

I prefer automatic logins for everything I'm not making a payment on with my debit card or bank account.

It all has to do with your cookie settings in the browser you're using. I haven't been logged out (without purposely doing it) for a year.

Same as John and Tony, I haven't had to login again since I joined up.
Having said that, I think it's good to allow people to lurk without having to join up. Eventually a really interesting thread will probably pull them in.

Apparently it's your computer or browser then because no one else has that problem... You might think so but every other web site including all the audio forums saves my log in info except for this site. It happens to a I7, Pentium 4, and 3 laptops here. XP, 7 or 8, all the same.
