No one use these, or have a preference? I have and use Drumagog a little bit, and it seems to work well. I was at a friend's studio the other day and he had Trigger up and running. Seemed really nice also.

I use Trigger but only as an enhancement when I am going for a more commercial sound.

I've never used Drumagog. I use Trigger 2 and it's very easy to use. Love the mix knob on it.

I used Drumagog in the past when I was running Pro Tools 7. When I upgraded my computer and Pro Tools system to 10, I compared both and picked Trigger. Neither sound truly "real" to me, but Trigger is easy to use and has some decent samples.

I have Drumagog also but Trigger is a lot easier to operate and seems to be faster to dial in also.

Trigger. Unfortunately I live in drum replacement world as the tracks I get are usually not recorded very well. Usually replacing the kick and snare.

I use Trigger, usually anywhere from 10% mix to 70% to supplement kick/snare and maybe toms. Very easy to use.... I don't like most of the samples, but there are enough good ones to get the sound I want. My experience is with rock/pop/folk/metal... (although I haven't tried using it on blast beat stuff).

I own both. I use Trigger out of the two.. the secret is in the settings... and as Johnkenn says, the mix knob. Blended in just a little.. makes a great difference. cheers Wiz
