I had hoped IZ would have come out with a machine more like the Tascam X-48 when the first iteration of the X-48 came out. AFAIK, there were some software issues with the Tascam when they first came out, but a lot of live-sound/mobile recording guys liked them also. It certainly is a nice machine with some great features also.
