I've bought speakers from madisound, but no kits. I received a tweeter than had slipped out of it's box and was crushed in shipping. I took a bunch of pictures and sent them an email sort of expecting a run around. About an hour later they sent me an apology and a shipping confirmation of a brand new tweeter. No fuss, no accusations, nothing but great service. So while I haven't had a chance to purchase anything from them in a while, I would like to.
I'm seriously thinking about a kit now too. Like my high end speaker thread said, I was thinking about buying something, but now I'm thinking of building a 3 way setup..
But now I'm wondering about these aluminum coned drivers like the L18 or RS180 in combination with the RS28A or the 27TBFC. It's intriguing to use metal as a cone since years ago people rallied against it, but now seem to embrace it.

if you do a three way, any interest in a build thread ? If I build one, it'll be this one; www.troelsgravesen.dk/SEAS-3-Way-Classic-mkII.htmHowever, I'm also looking at some 3 way options to purchase outright too. Anyway, I'm going to steer this back to the aluminum coned drivers since they are pretty close to the Amphions that are being discussed in the other thread. I'm also seriously considering the Zaph speaker 17: www.zaphaudio.com/audio-speaker17.html

I have built a couple of the Zaph SR71 kits great speakers! The guys at Madisound are great as well! Take a look at the kits at Solen as well, Would love a pair of The Wilmslow Audio 3 way Volt Transmission lines! But not sure I could afford the shipping from the UK!

I'm interested in how much shipping is from Janzen. I still plan on doing one of the 3 way kits from Janzen/Troels, but I have to believe that shipping a bunch of drivers from Denmark can't be cheap..
