Pardon my stupidity, but couldn't one of you smart people (svart, jsteiger) put one of these in a passive volume controller? I really may not have any idea of what I'm talking about, but how cool would it be to have a remote controlled volume knob of high quality? Just spitballin'

I'd have to look up some of the parts in the pic, but it's probably doable. Probably wouldn't get too much cheaper than that one though.
