I've got a badge and am planning on going. I can probably only last thru mid-afternoon on Thur though. NAMM lost it's appeal long ago for me. But I just bought another 000-18 and a buddy's got it in SoCal so I need to get over and pick it up. NAMM weekend seems like the logical choice.

What kind of Martin? Vintage? Golden Era? Vintage 000-18. Is there any other kind??? lol This makes 2 000-18's for me. The first one needs a neck reset to be playable, but it's tone is off the hook. I may make it a slide only guitar though...

I know you guys got access to great guitars down there but sometime check out 12th fret in Toronto; they have some pretty sweet classic and new guitars move through their inventory regularly !

I wish I was going. I have a band in tracking that weekend and am gonna buy something for the studio with the money! Keep your eyes peeled for cool new stuff, ya'll! I have a feeling I am buying some parts to build something very interesting though and I will keep everyone in the loop when it is presentable.

Ok, so we got about at least 10 of us who will be there. Who wants to start exchanging phone numbers so we can text a round=up point?
Yes, we could all meet up at Peavey's 50th anniversary and see BÖC rip through a set!

Did someone say motocross??? heh heh That might make it worthwhile!!!
Actually, with three hospital visits in the last month for family members who have gotten clobbered by this flu season - pneumonia, acute bronchitis and passing out, and other flu stuff, I'm reconsidering. I have spent more time caring for sick people than I can deal with right now.
For those of you who go, know that NAMM is sickness central. Take extra precautions. This particular flu season is a killer. Literally. Stay healthy! Hoag Hospital in Newport emergency looked like the zombie apocalypse last week. 40+ people waiting for beds in the ER.

It's curious to find that there are a few of us here who are/were into motocross, actually.
P.S. There is no connection between myself and motocross champion, Jeff Ward.

It's curious to find that there are a few of us here who are/were into motocross, actually. Still have 5 bikes & moved to a great riding area, but I still don't get to ride them as much as I'd like. If I go to NAMM riding time will be even less.... :-)

If you go, take hearing protection! One time at NAMM Anaheim was more than enough for me.

If you go, take hearing protection! One time at NAMM Anaheim was more than enough for me. Good advice. I wear Hearos all day long at NAMM, taking them out when it's somewhere quiet.

I owned one of the first 10 1998 YZ400F 4 stroke bikes(first of it's kind), i've raced(mid level skill as compared to the guys who used to fly by me lol) Carlsbad raceway, Glen Helen, Elsinore, Perris, Starwest blah blah, last time i rode was at a super cool mx track in Walden NY, that was in 2000, Being old and too crazy, i realized that pain hurts too much to do it anymore, it was ridiculously fun while it lasted, closest thing to flying i've ever experienced 8)
Sinsay was a full on pro motocrosser! That is an incredibly hard level to crack! you have to be beyond fast to reach the PRO class, it's quite a remarkable accomplishment on his part.
