I really want a Maz 8. I'm just saying, it's my favorite profile on the Kemper, it pairs beautifully with my guitars and pedals and almost immediately gives me the sound I want.
Anyone here have experience with them?

Is that the custom Dr. Z from The Amp Factory?

Anyone here have experience with them? I've heard some clips online of the Dr. Z stuff and thought it smoked. I recently worked with a guy playing a Z, had super high expectations, and was totally let down by his sound. Could have been the model he had, guitar he was playing, pedals he had in front, his style, whatever, but it was a huge letdown for me. From that experience, I would suggest getting one in your hands to try before buying one, don't just grab a deal on eBay or something if you see one. JMO.

Awesome amps if you have the $$ for them.

Is that the custom Dr. Z from The Amp Factory? No the Maz 8 profile that the Kemper ships with.

I've got a Dr. Z m12 (head with a Z Best 2x12 cab) that I'm a fan of. They're high quality rigs.

I would like to put one side by side with my Little Walters sometime for comparison. R The Little Walter sounds similar to the Z Wreck from my experience. With the edge going to the LW. Both are great amps of coarse.

I have a KT45 and an SRZ65 both are excellent amps. Tive had the KT since 2000 and probably used it on 90% of the records I've made since then. Takes pedals real well. AC50/hi watt ish.

I have a 6545 and a Stingray. I like the Z's. Unfortunately, the music store where I bought them closed down, and I can't go demo them anymore.

My good friend Richard Lanahan is a first class Tele driver from NY. He records all his stuff through a vintage Deluxe, and plays all his live gigs through a Dr. Z. I love the sound of that thing! If someone doesn't sound good thru a Z, it's the player, not the amp.
