I'm going Thursday through Saturday of NAMM week. Blue Oyster Cult members will be performing Thursday night at the Hilton Ballroom for Peavey's 50th Anniversary party, among other artists.
I'd be glad to meet any of you folks in person, if you see me, introduce yourself. My badge will say Buck Dharma and Don Roeser.

for Peavey's 50th Anniversary party, among other artists. Just saw where Hartley closed down the Meridian, MS plants to move production overseas. Pretty bummed out about that. Not that it's easy to have a business in the United States these days. |

I remember when Peavey got some kind of Presidential patriotic award for American international business excellence a while back. The Peavey guys told me most of their business is architectural and institutional sales. the MI stuff is now secondary. |

I remember when Peavey got some kind of Presidential patriotic award for American international business excellence a while back. The Peavey guys told me most of their business is architectural and institutional sales. the MI stuff is now secondary. Behringer undercut there prices, in order to compete Peavy opened up mail order to compete. This pissed off the Ma and Pa dealer who were Peavys MI backbone. The great ressession also gutted the MI market, their Media Matrix line is probably the Defcato Standard of the Explosion of the reasonably priced large scale install market. |
