I'm jonesing for one of these. I wish I could be there.. Me too. I am waiting on a used AD B2, for both tracking and 2-bus duty. There's one on the purple site for sale. He's asking too much I think. 2100 or 2150 can't remember. I gave 1900 for mine. He might take 1900 though if offered  |

A deal has been consummated. I am already waiting with irrational anticipation. This purchase has put a stake in the heart of my buyer's block. Time to roll on the next phase of the studio build-out: console, LDC mic, monitors. And possibly, a smallish house renovation to build a true iso room. It involves bringing my covered patio into the inside living space, creating a 9x12 space where noise can be made at will. A good fall project, for sure. |

My new-to-me ADC B2 is in flight, with an expected time-on-target of this Friday. I am painting a bulls-eye on the roof of my house today. Or maybe I should put it on the Garage door, so the FedEx guy can't miss.

Just thought about it.  Why cant these guys bring out single 500 series units to track through after preamp,or to use on the 2 Buss to pass audio through it to get some of that Burl magic(as with the Capi missing links) That would make me happy |

Don't know if you know but -18 is line. I'd start there first and see what kind of saturation you like. Mine lives on -18 but if you crank it you can damn sure hear it. It's like saturating and great preamp.
I still get some saturation from -18 but just a tad. It's perfect for the kind of stuff I do.
