Somehow I had acquired $100 worth of coupons. I was going back and forth with either the DBX160 or Fairchild mkII upgrade. I went with the Fairchild.

Vari mu. I'll never understand how some people get more coupons than others.

I'll say this - I thought I really liked the fcmkII, but I rarely use it anymore.

I use the Cambride eq everyday, John. It is a great eq and is my go to in conjunction with the stock Cubase eq's. You will love it.

ya that was wise, good call; the varimu wil fall in price. I am impressed with the clips HW to plug, but full retail is a lot of dough.

I'll say this - I thought I really liked the fcmkII, but I rarely use it anymore. That's what I was afraid of. But hey, it was free for me. I would like to have a vca comp though. I hear the Native Instruments version is pretty good.

It's just cleaner than I expected. I haven't logged many hours on the $30K original...
