On the upside, it says "magic mic" maybe it can sound like a 441 or a m88 with the flip of a button... Or just by saying outloud "Abra Kadabra"

Try it as a low fi mic and mess with it in post. I have used sillier things and made something of it. The fake spring sound in those could make for a cool effect.  R |

I hear Jk is really stoked about his new mike and he's going to start group diy build thread with pics and everything !! put chung to shame.
I can't wait to see how the hell he does that bubble gum mod; ( that really glues his vox's in the mix) : boy talk about secret sauce !!

Sounds like a competition is brewing. Semi-Off Topic, but has anyone been using 3-D printers to create components like capsules? ..or are the materials incompatible?
