Away from my Cubase computer right now...but what is the drum editor? Is it just like a step editor on something like "Boom" in PT's? List of the kit-pieces and you determine where those pieces play in time on the editor? My initial thought is that this would result in really rigid timing. Of course, I guess the same thing happens when you quantize in regular midi...
