I normally Side chain the kick drum to the bass but last night I swept a surgical eq across my bass track and the kick jumped out.
Does anyone else do this? Any other tricks to try?
There is not alot of bass left after it is rolled off at 500hz and a eq 15db reduction spike around 100hz. Still sounds good as part of the mix. I think but if there is a better way....
