I certainly hope not! I do, I usually get around 3 a month, in most cases I can go to bed early and sleep them off, I have medication for when they get really nasty, the problem is the meds make me feel cracked out, and very uneasy, so I'll usually ride them out as the pain is better than the crakbaby feeling. The worst one I ever had lead to my diagnosis as a sufferer, it was 3 weeks long of pounding and heavy nausea. I have one currently, I woke this morning on my 4th day, I've taken 3 crack pills, and I'm still miserable, it's the worst one I've had in years 8(

Yeah, periodically. My grandfather got them too. Mine are triggered by a few things that I avoid. The one sure-fire way for me is to drink or eat grapefruit. Within 30 minutes I get a migraine that shuts me down for the rest of the day.
I don't take the meds, I just avoid the triggers which thankfully are mostly foods.

Oh yeah! I get them every 3-5 weeks and they last between 3 and 5 days. Major pain the a$$ (and head) and makes me feel sick, not the vomity kind, but close. Got it from my mother.
