Hey guys - I asked Sal about this and he gave me a few options - ninevoltaudio - but most of those seem to be more uptempo. Do you guys know of any cool third party loops that don't have all the effects - whooshing, distortion, etc.? Looking for creative slow to mid tempo RMX loops.

What are you looking for? Drums, Percussion, Bass, Vocals, Guitars, Brass? 9 volt is out of biz, but they were offering their complete library a couple of weeks ago for a rediculous low price.
Search for Rex2 Loops - there's more of those out there than RMX and they are easily converted to RMX. Hundreds of thousands out there....
Also, don't completely write off the ones that are tempo challenged for you. RMX does a great job of changing the tempo to whatever you want, although some grooves are obviously dumb at significantly different tempos.
