I had Nashville in mind too, but Cape Town is hotter this time of year. The recent months we've had ridiculously low sun hours here so I need some sunlight! Also will be visiting some musician friends and a studio or two.

After three days here I feel like I'm beginning to settle. Just wanted to express my awe for the constant presence of music, rythm and dance. It's silly... You see small babies sitting in their carrieges clapping and singing, and not clueless you know...they are groovin, while their parents are picking groceries from the shelves. You see 10 year kids having dance competitions on the train station, and Oh My can they dance! I'm easily moved by stuff like this. You get down to the core of it. So I try to cover the tears in my eyes Also found a stupid hat I just had to have so my bald head doesn't get burnt. Attachments:

Oops, I'm doing it again. Back in Cape Town! Sure this country has it's history, has loads of issues and you see a lot of heartbreaking poverty. But jeeeez I love this region. Only have one day left before returning to cold and dark Sweden. Jan/Feb will be crazy, so this break was well needed.
