Group buys are big part of online recording forums, and I wanted to take that idea and run with it. In the process of launching a group buy platform for musicians in the next few days. The whole idea came when I started to talk with manufacturers about reinventing ecommerce in a way where the manufacturer, dealer, and buyer all win. We want to leverage our relationships with vendors to get the best possible price for products that the customer actually wants. We have a small preview page live at www.antitone.comRight now, we have a few big names like Shure, Genelec, Dynaudio, Eventide on board. A lot more are in the works. Any suggestions on smaller companies we can try to work this whole concept out with? Or more importantly, what do you guys want to see on there?

Hey, you bastards, use this link to sign up instead of the one above. Help a brother out... www.antitone.com/customer/account/create/referral/81Seems cool. I signed up. I noticed that under microphones it says Shure SM78. I think that should be SM7B. Sriracha deal too eh?

I already have an Aeropress. Best low tech coffee maker ever. Clearly you're only going to sell quality products, right?
Signed up.

I'm in! Sounds a little like MassDrop.com but if it's audio-centric, that'll be even better… good luck!

Hey guys! Ran into a little bit of a delay, but we got it going. A lot of the JBL stuff is hitting lowest price. The 305's are a steal right now—pair for $205, if anyone's in need of some good throw around monitors.

So what does 'ends in NaN mean?' Does the site wait until the lowest possible price is reached ..or is there a window of time? Is this explained somewhere on the site and I totally missed it?

That's a bug we're currently working on fixing. Lots of issues with Internet Explorer (does anyone still use IE anymore?) but our web dev is pretty busy at the moment. And wiz, sorry about that... UPS is just not willing to work with us on international shipping until we get our shipping volumes up. Meeting with them this week, hopefully with good results! I know some of the deals on the site are underwhelming at best, but we're going to start shifting our focus to small manufacturers and specialty boutique items pretty soon here, that's when the real fun starts!
