tonycamphd do you have any experience with the 1600 series Soundcrafts? I love tracking with the 1600's eq's and I'm curious as to how the Delta sounds in comparison. Your best bet is to tag jimwilliams on that... which i just did 8)

Your jealousy may be seeping across, but if you notice the little baby under the big guy pic on the previous page, that could very well pass your jealousy while heading across and south to ausland? 8)

Not much out their that can touch a Delta when it comes to clean, even less one that JW has dusted with his magic. Great score Bro, my only beef with the Delta was 6 aux on 4 knobs and the fact that the pre post fader switching is done by jumpers, but wait they took care of that and Called it the Venue Theatre! I bought one once sight unseen, unfortunately it wasn't loaded with the premium theatre modules and was smaller than advertised, I do miss the sound of that board or lack there of a sound! Enjoy, but with your skills Tone, replace those end caps and armrest with something pretty!

Thanx E, this is the Delta 8 so it has 8 aux on 6, and a PFL button also(is that what your talking about?), maybe i gotta read up a bit as it's a little different than the delta. I'm going to see if I can put some switching in so i can filter off at 40/80/160hz ala Jeff Stiegers vp28, right now it has 100hz only. Other than that, i'm digging this thing, and yes I already started in on some nice finishes around it, i'm thinking of putting 3-3 space racks across the top of the meter and loading it up with VP28's? that would also elevate my monitors up off the surface to about perfect height...

TC in terms of getting shit done, I have a new approach. i ask how much time do I have and what 1 task csn I get done in that time: no matter how small and I do it: good luck. With you xtra PSU and modules could you make an 8 channel summing unit ? You could probably sell that ? Thanx M, yes i have a couple extra PSU's, and around 50+ Extra channels/stereo inputs, so yeah I'll be building a few small chassis and offering a couple summing boards, if anyone is interested, let me know a config u may want, and we'll see if we can work out a deal, of course I'm always into trades as well 8) these things sound really good stock, with the Jim Williams mods, they are stunning! Dare I say SSL killers!(in quite a few opinions, including Brad McGowan's) Why oh why do you live half a world away??

Yeah but take a look at the Venue theatre module it is great for routing! As far as rack space above , I wouldn't you will find it much easier to get depth in your mixes by not adding to the height ! Besides you ca weld some nice speaker stands!
