I posted this on the other site in hopes that I'll get some response from BX/PA, but I'll probably just end up with a suspension. Anyway, I think this is total crap that all the BX models are coming out on UAD instead of Plugin-Alliance, they company that BX created for distribution.
Alliance: An alliance is a pact, coalition or friendship between two or more parties, made in order to advance common goals and to secure common interests.
Plugin-Alliance was started by Brainworx couple years ago. SPL, Vertigo, MAAG, with marketing implying Millennia, Charter Oak, and others. I bought into a handful of the plugins and I assume that many others did. I assume they were doing something right since they have 98,706 likes on Facebook.
Now it seems like all the new models are ending up on UAD. The old stuff has already gone/been going. The Millennia EQ only went to UAD. SHMC only went to UAD. Now the new Vertigo Satellite was just released on UAD.
It seems like the adopters that joined the Alliance were just pawns in the plan to catch the bigger fish (UAD).
Are we going to see these new processors as native users or is the Alliance just a sham.
