Yeah - funny how that happened - like they're determined to get the number to the 2000 quota.
On the other hand, it makes me wonder - how is that number is generated ..is it accurate? After all, it's all about marketing and perception.

Damn, that's a heck of a deal. Just gotta convince me self that I need anything they're offering. Any recommendations? I have all the usual UAD stuff, FabFilter, Slate, etc.

They've got lot's of stuff... but, the 432 is very cool. As are the 73, EQPA, Precision C/L, etc.

We're now only 4 away from the '5-for-1' goal! EDIT: Well, that was weird - it said 4 to go, now it says 19 again. Either something funny is going on with that counter or I need a new set of glasses...

try the 560 thing... its good. That's tops on my list so far. I've demoed it twice and really liked the ease of use and it's pretty powerful for sculpting. I have't demoed the other API EQ's yet maybe I'll give them a try as well.

So, basically 5 plugs for $129?

So, basically 5 plugs for $129? $100ish at Audiodeluxe. I grabbed EQ81 already and think I'm going to get the 73 and all 3 API models. I didn't have any Neve or API, so good deal for me.

So, basically 5 plugs for $129? Yeah, unless you want the Sontec 432, which is pretty nice. That'll cost you $149.99 and is their most expensive plug. Your free plugs have to be of equal or lesser value of the plugin you purchase.

Figure the eq models will get more use.

Where on Audiodeluxe's site is mention of the promo? I can find the individual plugs but.. I'm not sure. I grabbed EQ81 from AD, got my license in about 28 hours, then registered it with IK. Bam, free plugs galore. If you're going to go with AD or JRR, do it ASAP, so there is time to get the license and register.

So this ends today and I still haven't bought in. Damn it! I feel like I'm passing up a good deal. How's the API stuff?

So, this or VMR? What's the consensus?

I tried VMR
I found the rack a pain in the ass. No volume trim etc.
at this point, at this price. 5 plugs .. no brainer.

So, this or VMR? What's the consensus? I went with this for now. I've already got 1176 and SSL flavors, so IK gave me better variety.
