Excellent! I keep checking stock levels because I'm secretly hoping there will be only two left and that just might be enough motivation for me to order a pair.

Careful! I've built three of those things in the last month or two...and, of course, I'll need at least one more so it's an even number! It's like eating peanuts; once you get started putting them together, you don't want to stop!

Where's that album buddy? :^) Hey odyssey76I am really looking forward to building this. A little nervous about the op amps, if they look too much for me (too small , eyes aren't what they used to be) I will buy a couple assembled. I am super curious to hear them. I have read so much about them, and I am really really really looking forward to two things mostly... 1. The High Pass Filters..... man do I want these. 2. The ability to use it as an attenuator after my tube compressors (Drip STA and Drip LA2A) The album is over with Bob Olhsson getting mastered ....which will happen in the next couple of weeks... so hopefully well before Xmas, I am hoping for the end of this month. I plan on doing a full review of the build, and of the sound once I have used it for a while. cheers Wiz

Hey wiz the op amp isn't too hard to build man, just take your time and it'll come out well. This thing sounds really great on guitars, and nothing touches it on the stereo bus.

They're not hard to build, just tiny. Get something w a magnifying glass. I guess my eyes are like your's, but my visor solved that. My no 1 DIY tool actually. I Don't do any DIY or servicing without it. Attachments:

Now I just gotta figure out how to hook up the VP28's so I can easily switch from bus duties to preamp. use a patchbay brotha I guess I was thinking more along the lines of a passive switch box, but I'm sure a patch bay would be the best long term solution. I've just been hesitant since it seems overkill right now, and all my dsubs and other cables are XLR. Do you just plug your mics right into the patchbay with XLR to TRS adapters?

None of my mic pres have them so I run into my Electras. Would also like to have it all-in-one. I've never thought of using one for an attenuator. Would this be for both tracking and mixing? I'll be very much interested in hearing your thoughts on this. So cool you got Bob Olhsson mastering this album. I'm really looking forward to hearing this production. I'm a big fan of your sonic aesthetics. Keep us posted!
