Are they microphone-specific? For instance, can a power supply for a C12-type microphone be used for a different type of mic? I'm also wondering if anyone makes a rack-mount microphone power supply. It seems like the tabletop-type supplies would take up a lot of room in a cramped studio situation, whereas a rack-mountable one might end up being a bit neater/more convenient. Perhaps even have several supplies in one 19" rack. Would be great if it could be 1U.
