Anyone still use them and which ones are decent for the money?

The Eventide H7600s have been a top seller for local studios over the past years. It might be more than what you're wanting, but I personally think Eventide has some of the most realistic harmonization algos (unless that's not what you want?).
Any reason you're not going the software route for harmonization?

I'm looking for a good one for my guitar rig. I'd prefer to get it in pedal form. I tried out the Eventide Pitch Factor at GC in Nashville but was sorely disappointed with the tracking. Actually worse than my old Digitech IPS33 from 1989, which I still have.

The Eventide H9 looks pretty cool, I haven't tried it though.

Actually worse than my old Digitech IPS33 from 1989, which I still have. I use a TC Helicon Voice Live for harmonies and Two TC racks, D-Two and M-One XL. The combo works nice with a Boss distortion pedal.

Any reason you're not going the software route for harmonization? I'm an outboard kinda guy. I've always felt that it offers me more flexibility in the long run. I was really wondering if there was an older model that offers a lot, but doesn't cost much, (like the older lexicons do for reverb..).

Not sure what would be best for guitars. I have an Eventide H3000 D/SE which I love. It has a bunch of Steve Vai presets.

I suppose I could be down to use a plugin if I had to. The problem is that I run an outboard vocal chain (1176,LA2A, reverbs, etc) and I would think that a plugin would need to have a stereo out for best effect.
