This, could be very handy.
as an intelligent gate, really cool.. and if it can smooth out inconsistent hits , it would save me a bucket of time

I thought the same thing, Wiz. Especially with huge track count productions, this could really help speed up the mix process.

Wow I need this in my life, pushing snares and kicks up in room mics would be unreal.

Drum Leveler is now out. If you're a registered owner of another Sound Radix product, you can get it for $99 (iso $149) until the end of December. Going shopping now...

I just tried this on a song with rimshot/sidestick that is played inconsistently and with far too much HH bleed, and wow! Thanks wiz and everybody for the heads up!

It works great. Used it recently to bring up some snare ghost notes that got lost.

When mixing real drums there was often the feeling left that it was not what I had in mind. This one could be the answer great IDEA.....

I agree. This plug is like a sleeper. Among all new stuff that is coming out all the time, you kind of think 'ok so another comp/gate'. Then you test it, try the special features and see how useful it is. Both as problem solver or just making good stuff great. I'm amazed too

The thing really looks like no joke. I love the fact that there are plugin manufacturers that are embracing what digital can do rather than imposing the limitations of analog.

Sound Radix stuff is awesome. Secret weapon type plugs. Try Auto Align on multi mic'd electric guitar or bass mic/DI. Or a whole drum kit if you do it right. Amazing.
I haven't tried the Drum Leveler yet but I've no doubt it's great.

tonycamphd Ok, a real world application here with the demo attached. These are a pair of stereo overheads. The sidestick on this country song really cuts but the snare brush notes aren't as much as I would like them to. In 30 seconds, I got a quick feel for the plugin and took the sidestick nearly all the way out of the equation! I would never do this radical of a move in a mix situation, but I am very impressed that I could if I wanted to! After playing with it some more, I was able to allow the cymbal to breathe and not be as smashed as it is in these files. I already own their AutoAlign and preach about it daily to the folks around my studio. Another major hit for Sound Radix! If I were to endorse a plugin company, these guys would be it, Tony! www.hightail.com/download/UlRReUNKbWdtNEkwTWNUQwR

That's a pretty impressive little plug, i'm a ghost note junky, this could be great for me when i finally start tracking some drums in here, Is there a demo download? how does it affect the overall tone of the drums Randy? (other than the obvious level change), any ill effects or artifacting?

Try it on all of your close miced drums first. Then, try a mono acoustic using your 84 and your voice through your 47 all live and make them out of phase just for a test. Use the plug on them and you will be amazed.
