This is maybe slightly off topic, but appearances are important for pro audio... does anyone know of a good graphic designer for having a logo made for my studio? Preferably one that won't break the bank I haven't had much luck in my online (and local) search. Thanks!

I have used her many times for graphic design over the last 15 years. She is awesome and reasonable. Tell her Jeff from Classic Audio sent ya! www.qcreativedesign.com/index.html

Is not Treehouse Productions the better sounding option?? 1930 Bauhaus (FUTURA) always looks good.

Is not Treehouse Productions the better sounding option?? Why not using the good old Futura-Letters from the 1930 as Logo? Bauhaus always looks good. I tend to agree on the name... and I appreciate the font suggestions -- I'll look into those. There was already a Treehouse Productions in NC, so I was trying to avoid any issues there. However, I just checked the sec of state site, and it looks like it's dissolved now, so maybe I can use that after all! Uh -- actually, it looks like there's already a good sized studio called 'Treehouse Productions' in CA, so that's probably not going to work. There's also a 'Treehouse Audio' as well as a 'Treehouse Sound' and 'Treehouse Recording Studios.' I guess it's not the most original idea for a name, but I would argue that mine is the most deserving since people say it looks like a treehouse without ever knowing the name of the studio. I guess I could do some combination of the above like "Treehouse Audio Productions" or "Treehouse Music Productions" . Or just stick with 'Studio Treehouse' since that seems to be unique.

Anyone want to name my studio ? If I use your suggestion, there's a hefty $10 'finders fee' in it for you Only rule is that is has to have 'Treehouse' somewhere in the name.

Wow cool! I real like the one with the PCB, although I never envisioned anything like that. My idea for the logo was to have a minimalist image of a treehouse, inside which there would be a simple silhouette of a guy with a guitar. Lame?

And wouldn't you know it, I just checked the site for the hundredth time this week, and they're back!!! And not only that, but the VP28's as well. Now to figure out just how much money you'll be draining from my account this week.... aah decisions.

I do not know why but it never was hard for me to be creative if someone asks. My believe is taht a companies name should make a statement about what you do. Because you can't be good in all AE tasks. Some studios over here, in the EU, offer everything TRACKING/MIXING/MASTERING/RESTAURATION etc. Its not believable for a small place - you can't be a jack of all trades.
