Funny - I just posted about this in the other Antelope spread - Ryan McGuire at Vk suggested I try one - I've cycled through an embarrassing array of DA - I guess because it is both so critical and so personal - and this thing was just awesome.
There are some opinions to avoid the "Gold" version as it is less flat, but I don't know first hand. I do know I was able to shoot it out against a 2192, BLA Apollo and a Benchmark DAC-1 - all things I already owned - and it wasn't a fair fight.
Well worth a demo. Can even be hooked straight up via USB2 - super easy.

What's the difference in the $1900 and the $2700 plus model?

Interesting...neither of these are on the Antelope site...wonder if they're being discontinued?

What's the difference in the $1900 and the $2700 plus model? Here's a comparison, if you click on the "Comparison chart" tab: antelopeaudio.com/en/products/Zodiac-Plus-Mastering-DACIf you look at the bottom of most pages on the Antelope site, you'll see the links to the various Zodiac's.

Yeah, the site is organized in a surprising fashion - I was wary given the piece was listed in the home audio section. Aside from the "Gold" comments mentioned, I think at one point there were some connectivity options, some without headphone jacks, etc. I know the one I have is more or less a "plus," but an older one at that.
I've recently seen one on eBay for a buy it now price of just under $1,400, if that helps.
